H. H. Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche in Tibet

H. H. Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche is the 41st Head of the Sakya Order of Tibetan Buddhism.  He is world-renowned for the brilliance and clarity of His teachings & fluent, precise command of English.  Just as H. H. Dalai Lama is regarded as an emanation of Avalokiteshvara (or Great Compassion), H.H. Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche is regarded as an emanation of Manjusri (or Transcendent Wisdom). To receive teachings directly from Him not only carries the special lineage blessings of the Sakya Order, but also of the Bodhisattva Manjushri himself.

Our name, Tsechen Namdrol Ling, was given by H. H. Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche on Sept 1, 2013.  It translates as a “Place for Complete Liberation and Great Compassion”. Tsechen Namdrol Ling was inaugurated during His Holiness’ visit on May 6th, 2014.  It was incorporated in the State of New Mexico and also was granted its Non-Profit organization 501(c)(3) status in 2015. We offer training in the disciplines, educational & artistic resources from within the Sakya Lineage’s ancient traditions. When His Holiness inaugurated and blessed our new center, He said that “Tsechen Namdrol Ling will be a very big center in the future”!

Presently, we are fortunate to have access to teachings in the West. We will always keep you up to date on events taking place in the Santa Fe area and online.  So far, we have hosted H. H. Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, Lama Kunga Thartse Rinpoche, Lama Choedak Rinpoche, Khenpo Lama Pema Wangdak, Khenpo Thupten Gongphel, Khenpo Migmar Tseten, Lama Jay Goldberg, Nima Dorjee & Elisabeth Benard, Lama Jampa Thaye, Lama Glenn Mullin and Do Tulku Rinpoche. We look forward to many visits from Our Teachers and Their blessings for our dharma community.

We now have a permanent location for Tsechen Namdrol Ling in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. With such strong foundation in the Dharma being laid, may it continue to grow and thrive.

Tsechen Namdrol Ling is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization for religious, educational, and cultural purposes under the guidance of His Holiness Sakya Trichen Rinpoche, the 41st head of the Sakya order of Tibetan Buddhism.
